MEET ERIC B. WILLIAMS
Servant Leader Delivering Results for Our Community
I'm Eric B. Williams, a proud member of the Sunset Ridge East Community since my return from a combat deployment in Afghanistan in 2012. Currently serving as an Active-Duty Sergeant First Class/E-7 (Promotable) in the Texas Army National Guard, I've been instrumental in supporting our state and local municipalities during times of crisis, including Hurricane Harvey, winter freezes, civil disturbances, and the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as Operation Lone Star (OLS).
My educational journey includes earning an Associate Degree in Arts from Lone Star College, a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resources Management (HRM) from the University of Houston – Victoria, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) from Lamar University.
Beyond my military and academic pursuits, I'm deeply involved in community service as a 33rd degree Mason and Shriner at Pleasant Rose Lodge #105 in Houston, Texas. I'm also an active member of New Direction Community Church of the Fifth Ward community.
As a dedicated father of two, I take immense pride in my son's recent graduation from Summer Creek High School and my daughter's early academic journey at Ridge Creek Elementary School. Together, we've cherished the blessings of living in this wonderful community.
Over the past three years, I've served as the Sunset Ridge HOA Vice President, where I collaborated with fellow community leaders to enhance our neighborhood’s well-being, appearance, and engagement while ensuring adherence to governing documents.
